A new building permit was filed on February 20 to transform the last remaining Gaumont cinema in France into a Pathé, featuring significant architectural upgrades designed to align with the ongoing redesign of #DisneyVillage.
According to the permit description, the works will include:
- Modifications of the main entrance façade,
- Demolition of 2 existing entrance canopies (located in front of the main entrance),
- Complete interior refurbishment of all common areas,
- Renovation of the exteriors,
- An increase in total floor area,
Removal of the double-skin structure currently installed in front of the glass façade of the lobby.
All these developments point to a major construction project on the horizon, involving a complete overhaul of the exterior along with a deep modernization of the interior!
