At the beginning of 2026, Disneyland Paris launched a major transformation of Disney Sequoia Lodge, marking a new chapter in the evolution of its hotel portfolio. The objective is to modernize the guest experience while preserving the property’s signature woodland identity.

Project Overview
The renovation program focuses on a progressive, phased refurbishment of the hotel, which will remain operational throughout the works.
The ambition is to:
- Refresh guest accommodations
- Enhance comfort and functionality
- Preserve the warm, nature-inspired atmosphere of the lodge
- Introduce a new, story-driven design approach
Phase 1 – Room Renovation (Outdoor Lodges)

The first phase targets all rooms located in the five exterior lodges, set within the forested environment of the property.
These rooms will introduce a new artistic direction inspired by nature and Disney storytelling, with three distinct thematic designs:
➞ Bambi (1942) – Nature-focused design inspired by the forest and its animals
➞ Pocahontas (1995) – Nature, harmony, and landscape-driven aesthetic
➞ Brave (2012) – Celtic-inspired design with rustic and wooded elements
Each theme is intended to connect the guest experience more closely with the surrounding environment and Disney narratives linked to nature.
Design Direction

The new rooms will:
- Emphasize natural materials and textures
- Integrate subtle character storytelling elements
- Maintain the rustic “woodland lodge” identity of the hotel
- Balance modern comfort with immersive theming

Future Phases
After completion of the outdoor lodges, the renovation will expand to the rest of the hotel:
- Main lodge rooms

- Retail and recreation spaces
Each area will be redesigned progressively while maintaining continuous hotel operation.
Strategic Role
This renovation is part of the broader transformation of Disneyland Paris hotels, aiming to:
- Elevate accommodation standards
- Strengthen thematic storytelling in resorts
- Align older properties with newer design expectations
